Thanks to you, the next movie I rent will be The Apartment. Awards Walk is just magnificent, the place where these glass plaques live. Here is a pic of the staircase, the bottom of which is where the red carpet ends on Oscar Day. The attendees then ascend the stairs and enter at the second floor rotunda entrance.
Hey Catherine… The Apartment is one of my all time favorite movies (which I will blog about over on Banal Leakage soon.. very soon). I would love to be able to actually be there for an event like the Oscars (which I know are coming up in a couple of weeks.) That photo and how you explain it sound like it’s a great place to breathe in all of the movie history.
