Concerts coming to Utah this summer are a-plenty. Here’s the list so far: And of course, the previously mentioned Stone Temple Pilots show on June 11th. That’s all for now of the bands I am interested in. Will add another post with others as they get announced.

Last week, Velvet Revolver officially announced the firing/departure of Scott Weiland as their lead singer, siting all sorts of reasons. And Slash had previously announced a Stone Temple Pilots reunion.
So as expected, Stone Temple Pilots announced, with a news conference/mini-concert in the Hollywood Hills, that they have reunited and have planned a 65-date tour this year.
I for one, couldn’t be happier. As a big STP fan since they first broke out on the scene in 1992 and having seen them in concert twice, I’m pretty excited. June 11th at the E Center is their date for Utah.
